 CHAIRMAN RICK HALFORD called the Senate Rules Committee meeting to            
 order at 8:12 p.m.                                                            
 SENATOR RIEGER moved and asked unanimous consent that  HB 122  (CHILD    LD   
 CUSTODY PROCEDURES) be approved for calendaring at the Chair's                
 discretion.  Hearing no objection, it was so ordered.                         
 SENATOR RIEGER moved and asked unanimous consent that  CSHB 218(FSH)     )    
 (RELATING TO LENGTH OF SEINE VESSELS) be approved for calendaring             
 at the Chair's discretion.  SENATOR ZHAROFF objected, stating that            
 he would like the opportunity to take a longer look at the                    
 legislation.  SENATOR RIEGER withdrew his calendaring motion.                 
 SENATOR RIEGER moved and asked unanimous consent that  HB 221                 
  (WORKERS COMP:VOLUNTEER FIRE FIGHTERS, ETC) be approved for                  
 calendaring at the Chair's discretion.  Hearing no objection, it              
 was so ordered.                                                               
 SENATOR RIEGER moved and asked unanimous consent that  CSHB 459(JUD)     )    
 am  (DAMAGES & ATTY FEES FOR UNPAID WAGES) be approved for                    
 calendaring at the Chair's discretion.  Hearing no objection, it              
 was so ordered.                                                               
 SENATOR RIEGER moved and asked unanimous consent that  SB 379  (BOARD    RD   
 OF MARINE PILOTS;PILOTAGE TARRIFS) be approved for calendaring at             
 the Chair's discretion.  Hearing no objection, it was so ordered.             
 There being no further business to come before the committee, the             
 meeting was adjourned at 8:14 p.m.                                            
 CHAIRMAN HALFORD called the meeting back to order.                            
                                                                               
 SENATOR RIEGER renewed his motion to approve  CSHB 218(FSH)                   
 (RELATING TO LENGTH OF SEINE VESSELS) for calendaring.  SENATOR               
 ZHAROFF objected.  The roll was taken with the following result:              
 Senators Jacko, Little, Rieger and Halford voted "Yea" and Senator            
 Zharoff voted "Nay."  The Chairman stated the motion carried.
